We make use of an exceptionally strict coding system in a highly secure structure called Drupal.
Drupal is a modular content management framework, content management system and blogging engine which was originally written by Dries Buytaert. Today, it is used by many high-traffic ‘Web sites. Drupal is written in PHP using strict coding standards.
Drupal has a basic layer, or core, which supports pluggable modules which enable additional behaviors. The modules available for Drupal provide a wide assortment of features, including e-commerce systems (consists primarily of the distributing, buying, selling, marketing and servicing of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks), work-flow, photo galleries, mailing list management, and CVS integration (Concurrent Versions System: keeps track of all work and all changes in a set of files, and allows several - potentially widely separated - developers to collaborate). The Actions and Workflow modules provide an example of the high degree of automation possible with Drupal.
Drupal achieves clean integration between the core and the modules via a system of hooks, or callbacks, to allow modules to insert functions into Drupal's path of execution.
